Executive produced by BRIC-TV, Girls Aren’t Funny is a drama comedy series that tells the stories of up-and-coming women comedians in the New York City stand-up scene. The pilot episode introduces Amamah as she tries to balance her blossoming comedy career in the city and her conservative Muslim Pakistani family’s expectations back at home on Long Island.
